Briella is actually pretty sick this last week. Not actually “sick” but she is in a full asthma attack. She has been coughing since October after a mild cold. Once the weather turned cold here, her airways became tight and irritated from 6 weeks of coughing. She has been on bedrest at home, today is day 7. We have tried all the meds and are on the last chance medicine to keep her home and not hospitalized. We have not seen the turn in the right direction yet, but know it’s coming. Her oxygen levels have stayed good, please pray it stays that way so she can fight from the comfort of her home. As soon as she sits up, or walks to the restroom, she has violent coughing attacks, every 30 seconds at least and it lasts half an hour. It’s heartbreaking. Briella’s lungs haven’t had it this rough since 2019. Such a reminder for us to never take her health for granted-not that we ever have.
